I Am Still Here

I am still here at Ft. Bragg. We are doing some pretty serious training, sometimes more than once. It appears that when you sign into a class that you take the accountability of that sign in roster is always in question. Some of us are pretty steamed to be taking the same classes over and over again. At any rate we are still here and as the days move along we are all looking forward to our pass. (please come soon)

Language Training

Today we marched over to FOB Patriot for language training. It looks like we will be spending the next couple of days over here. Things are going pretty well, some of us got to the PX yesterday. Our laundry is being picked up once a week so we do not smell too bad. Training is picking up which is very exciting. Time is flying by which is fantastic.

TAG (Training Assistance Group)

Still in training, we are at a very small FOB. Time is going by pretty fast and before I know it I will be home on pass before I go. You miss the little things in life at the fob like, sleep, peace and quiet, shade, good food, and water that does not taste like rusty metal. I love the Army though and I am not really complaining...???I am eager to get to Afghanistan and do my mission so I can come home. Again I will write when I can.

Here we go agian Oct 9. 2008

Well I am getting ready to hit the fob limping agian. For some reason we decided to go on a couple of road marches in the contonement area. Can you say blisters. Thats ok, I hope that my friends over there are well and I will be joining them soon. It looks like we have about 40 days of fob life, a little break and than the big plane ride. I am going to be stuck at a fob that is the size of a basketball court and we will be without the internet, washing machines and px stuff. There is a good possibility that it could be a while before I write agian. To all of my friends at work, I miss you but my pay checks are freaking huge. My friends at home, I hope to see you in about a year. I will blog agian when I can.
